Featured here is the Flamed Maple Jouhikko Model G10, the entire instrument from the body to the soundboards to the tuning pegs and tailpiece are all made from solid flamed maple also known as curly maple. The one shown is natural but it is also just as vibrant stained a dark brown or a golden oak color. The single circluar soundhole provides tons of resonance and volume allowing more soundwaves to escape than modern F-holes. Maple is one of the best tonewoods used today and this model delivers that in every way. This model is perfect for the proffesional musician who's demands need the best sound for recording purposes.
